The Wordies ProjectThis very special project came about as part of the healing process after the passing of my dear Mother. I have always had a love for typography and the written word so it seemed a good time to express myself. The initial project consists of 26 “Wordies”, one for each letter of the alphabet. Knit in a slightly openwork pattern of up to 10 different fibers, this elongated scarf is embellished with pieces of fabric or buttons and jewelry that belonged to my Mom. Her memory lives on. |
